DLRL Summer School 2025

Amii is excited to host the CIFAR Deep Learning + Reinforcement Learning Summer School (DLRLSS) in Edmonton this year.

Presented by CIFAR, DLRL Summer School features some of the most influential voices in artificial intelligence.

About DLRL Summer School 2025

DLRL Summer School is known as one of the top training opportunities for students and researchers focused on deep learning and reinforcement learning.

Participants will hear from leading experts, including Amii Chief Scientific Advisor and recent Turing Award recipient, Richard S. Sutton. His work has shaped the field of reinforcement learning and continues to influence the direction of AI research worldwide.

In addition to expert-led lectures and talks, participants will take part in networking opportunities, social events, and a career fair—designed to spark connections and support the next steps in their AI careers.

DLRL Summer School Comes to Edmonton

Edmonton is home to a vibrant and growing AI community. As one of Canada’s three national AI institutes, Amii plays a key role in advancing AI research, education, and commercialization in Alberta and beyond. Hosting DLRL Summer School 2025 is an opportunity to showcase the strength and collaboration within our local AI ecosystem.

We look forward to welcoming participants to Edmonton and supporting them as they build skills, knowledge, and connections that will shape their future in AI.
