Amii & RLAI Lab host Tea Time Talks 2020 Series

The Amii-affiliated Reinforcement Learning and Artificial Intelligence (RLAI) Lab invites you for tea!

The RLAI Lab aims to create new methods for reinforcement learning that remove some of the limitations on its widespread application and to develop reinforcement learning as a model of intelligence that could approach human abilities.

As is tradition, the lab will be gathering at the end of summer days for short talks on technical topics, in a series called the Tea Time Talks, hosted by Amii’s Chief Scientific Advisory Dr. Richard S. Sutton. The talks are limited to a strict 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions. Delivered by students, faculty and guests, the talks are relaxed and informal, and range from ideas starting to take root to finished projects. This means you’ll get to hear top leaders in AI speak about research interests they may explore in the future.

Keeping social distancing in mind, the talks will be conducted online this year, Monday through Thursday from 4:15 – 4:45 p.m. MT.
