Up-and-coming AI talent: here’s one more reason to look forward to summer. Applications are now open for CIFAR’s world-renowned Deep Learning + Reinforcement Learning (DLRL) Summer School.

The program brings together graduate students, post-docs and professionals to cover the foundational research, new developments and real-world applications of deep learning (DL) and reinforcement learning (RL).

Celebrating 20 Years of Training AI’s Best & Brightest

Presented by CIFAR and the Vector Institute in collaboration with Amii and Mila, DLRL Summer School is celebrating its 20th year of training the world’s best emerging AI talent.

Spanning 10 days – double the length of last year’s event– attendees will explore the latest in ML research, connect with peers and experts through networking sessions and social events, and scope out employment opportunities at the program’s dynamic career fair.

Learn from Amii Experts

The program features globally recognized experts from across industry and academia, including Amii Fellows and Canada CIFAR AI Chairs:

  • Angel Chang (Simon Fraser University), teaching Language and Vision in 3D

  • Marlos Machado (University of Alberta), teaching RL and Games

  • Rupam Mahmood (University of Alberta), teaching Introduction to RL (part 1)
