Hi there,
One of our most important goals at Amii is to support world-leading research that forwards the field of artificial intelligence.
We’re proud to announce that last week, a team of Amii researchers published a paper in the scientific journal Nature, exploring the problem of loss of plasticity. It’s a mysterious challenge that affects deep learning networks, and solving it could be a crucial step in building advanced AI that works in the real world.
This month, we also announced a partnership with Google for Startup Cloud’s program. Amii will offer our coaching and expertise to help early-stage startups harness AI to accelerate their business. The program is open to anyone who has taken part in Amii’s ML Exploration program or Level Up: Amii’s CTO Coaching program recently or plans to in the future.
We’ll be at the All In conference in Montreal next month to meet with others and share all the exciting things going on in the AI community. I’ll be taking part in a panel on the first day to talk about how Canada is at the forefront of AI innovation. If you’re at All In, make sure to come by to say hi to the Amii team.
Hope to connect with you soon.
