What makes a good AI paper? What factors go into whether a paper is accepted or rejected? And how can you improve your chances of publication?

Hear from Andy Patterson (Amii & RLAI Lab PhD Student) on the basics of the AI paper review process from the reviewer perspective – from reviewer invitations right to the final acceptance or rejection decision.

This presentation is followed by a panel discussion between three Fellows & Canada CIFAR AI Chairs at Amii: Lili Mou, Alona Fyshe and Adam White. These three researchers share their experiences peer reviewing for major conferences, offering insights on what reviewers will look for while reading research papers, as well as submission tips and tricks.
