Wenjie Xu (he/him) is a Machine Learning Resident on the Advanced Tech team at Amii.

He is currently collaborating with the National Research Council (NRC) on a project focused on machine learning approaches for predicting gene expression differences. Wenjie has worked on several ML applications in healthcare and smart grid projects, including research roles at the University of Alberta.

He is completing his PhD at the University of Alberta and holds a Master of Engineering in Computer and Information Engineering.

In his free time, Wenjie enjoys swimming, playing badminton, and exploring new places.
