Nasimeh Asgarian is a Machine Learning Educator on Amii's Training team, currently working on the Coursera MOOCs. She worked at Amii from 2007 to 2014, applying ML to health projects. Afterward, she joined the precision health startup Syantra, using ML on genetic data to predict breast cancer.

Nasimeh earned her MSc in Computing Science at the University of Alberta and her BSc in Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids doing outdoor activities like hiking and biking, as well as crafting and baking.
