Muhammad Gohar Javed (he/him) is an Associate Machine Learning Scientist on the Industry team at Amii. In his role, he translates client business challenges into tailored AI solutions and guides them through implementation roadmaps.

Before joining Amii, Gohar worked as an ML Researcher at Hotpot AI, where he led the development of AI-powered tools for image editing and graphic design. He also worked as a Data Scientist at Teradata, contributing to various client projects in 2D and 3D computer vision, and as an ML Intern at AltaML, focusing on predictive maintenance for the City of Calgary’s vehicle fleet.

Gohar holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, where he specialized in Generative AI for 3D human motion in computer graphics and animation.

Outside of work, Gohar enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, cooking, spending time with friends, and the occasional gaming session.
