Levent Ozbek is a Machine Learning Engineer at Amii. With years of industry, academic and hands-on experience in architecting and deploying ML systems, Levent is joins Amii from ML and research engineering roles in visual effects and quantum, including some time at Netflix, IBM and growing startups in Canada and the US.

A pioneer of AI in visual effects and entertainment, Levent was part of Canada's first ever research team that trained and inferenced an LLM on a Quantum computer, implemented diffusion models for CGI generation in film, and deployed a custom LLM for screenwriting.

Levent earned his MSc of AI at the University of Leeds. In his free time, he enjoys amateur auto racing, boxing, and cinema.
