Jordan is a Machine Learning Resident on the Advanced Tech Team, collaborating with Ambyint to apply reinforcement learning towards reducing methane emissions in oil and gas extraction. He has previously worked on a range of machine learning and software products in industry at Upside Robotics, Dapper Labs, and Tableau.
Jordan earned his MSc at the University of Alberta under Adam White, where he focused on developing dynamics models to support the real-world deployment of reinforcement learning agents.
Outside of work, he enjoys martial arts, playing guitar, chess, and getting overly enthusiastic about trees, mountains, and anything that doesn’t involve a screen.
