Ali Parsaee is a Machine Learning Resident with the Advanced Technology team at Amii. He is currently working on the New Harvest project using optimisation techniques to build effective Cell Media for cultured meat. He was previously a Machine Learning Researcher at the University of Alberta, and has completed two Work-Integrated Learning Opportunities (WILOs) at Amii.

Ali earned his BSc in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary and his MSc in Computer Science at the University of Alberta with a specialization in Statistical Machine Learning. In his free time, Ali enjoys playing chess, reading comic books, rock climbing, and swimming.
