Abrar Fahim is a Machine Learning Resident with the Advanced Tech team at Amii. He is currently working on a project with Ultimarii, researching the use of LLMs for navigating environmental approvals for large projects. He has previous experience as a junior software engineer at a game development company.

Abrar earned his MSc in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, where he worked with Amii Fellow Alona Fyshe on a range multi-modal contrastive learning projects. He earned his BSc in Computer Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, researching approximate nearest neighbour search.
