Reporting to the Product Owner, Talent, the Project Manager serves as a key member of a dedicated product stream and an active participant in facilitating excellent client relationships and industry partnerships within the organization.
The Project Manager will utilize their exceptional business and project management skills to build great relationships with Amii’s clients and talent pipeline. Also, the Project Manager contributes to program and product development.
In this role, the Project Manager will bridge the gap between business and technical expertise while focusing on planning and executing client-facing programs for career development and talent engagement. The Project Manager is responsible for clear communication with the team and stakeholders on the progress and performance of projects. Capitalizing on the knowledge and expertise of cross-functional teams at Amii, the Project Manager will empower clients with the opportunities and knowledge to build strong connections into the AI talent community.
The role focuses on achieving excellence in three principal accountabilities:
Project Manager undertakes specific, but limited, planning and advisory roles when opportunities arise that are aligned with their skillset and growth plans.
One of Canada’s three main institutes for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, our world-renowned researchers drive fundamental and applied research at the University of Alberta (and other academic institutions), training some of the world’s top scientific talent. Our cross-functional teams work collaboratively with Alberta-based businesses and organizations to build AI capacity and translate scientific advancement into industry adoption and economic impact.
