One of Canada’s three main institutes for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, our world-renowned researchers drive fundamental and applied research at the University of Alberta (and other academic institutions), training some of the world’s top scientific talent. Our cross-functional teams work collaboratively with Alberta-based businesses and organizations to build AI capacity and translate scientific advancement into industry adoption and economic impact.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations the Events and Hosting Associate executes strategies, frameworks, and plans through various tactics.
Acting as a team member with a varied and powerful toolkit of skills, the Events and Hosting Associate is vital for the success of the accountabilities of the Marketing and Communications Team, including:
In addition, the Events and Hosting Associate undertakes specific but limited planning and advisory roles when opportunities arise that are aligned with their skillset and growth plans.
