We are excited to announce that Alona Fyshe (Amii Fellow, Canada CIFAR AI Chair and Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta) will be moderating a panel discussion of Canadian female tech leaders in the upcoming Women in AI (WAI) Global Summit.
WAI is a nonprofit do-tank working towards gender-inclusive AI that benefits global society. The WAI Global Summit, taking place online on September 8, 2020, features 50 keynotes, panels, and workshops covering topics in Health, FinTech, Ethics, Business, Education, Culture and more. By bringing together AI experts and enthusiasts from all over the world, the event aims to be a step forward in making AI diverse and inclusive for all.
Alona will be leading the Shaping AI for good: Canadian AI ecosystem session, which showcases Canada’s strong and diverse AI ecosystem with perspectives from entrepreneurship, ethical AI, finance and healthcare.
