Alex Santo (Ahead.IO CEO & Founder) walks through the opportunities and challenges of designing STELLA -- Ahead.IO's repairable, expandable and modular robot dog kit -- and explains its educational benefits and potential in various industry domains. Joined by Rupam Mahmood (Amii Fellow & Canada CIFAR AI Chair; Assistant Professor, Computing Science at the University of Alberta), the two set the stage for an insightful exploration into the realms of legged robotics and the collaborative efforts driving innovation.
  2. Experience STELLA's capabilities through a live demonstration.
  3. Following the presentation and demo, a panel discussion moderated by Mahmood and featuring Santo, Martin Jagersand (Professor, Computing Science at the University of Alberta) and Jun Jin (Amii Fellow; Assistant Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta) dives into the latest advancements and challenges in legged robotics and reinforcement learning.
