Soumik Farhan is a Machine Learning Resident with the Advanced Tech team at Amii. He is currently working on a project with MiddleAI, an Alberta-based startup focused on commercializing groundbreaking new Generative AI “Action” models. Their research primarily targets ethical, goal-based, multi-agent ecosystems capable of reasoning and taking autonomous actions on behalf of large workforce companies.

Soumik previously worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Amii and a Machine Learning Engineer at Sunnybrook Research Institute. He completed his Masters of Science in biomedical engineering, working at the intersection of computational neuroscience and deep learning algorithms to investigate brain connectivity parameters. In his free time, enjoys hiking, exploring new places and listening to new music (preferably all at once).
