Lead Machine Learning Scientist
David Reid is the Lead Machine Learning Scientist with the Industry team at Amii, helping businesses in the early stages of AI adoption find solutions to their business problems and providing guidance on AI best practices. He has extensive experience in data science and statistics, having worked as a Statistician with the Australian Bureau of Statistics and Lead Data Scientist at Cascadia Scientific.
David earned a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry at Australian National University; his thesis focused on methods for scaling calculations of NMR Chemical Shieldings to large molecules. In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding, Latin dancing, running and baking.
