Dave Staszak is a Lead Machine Learning Scientist with the Advanced Technology team, providing scientific oversight on applied ML projects. Prior to joining Amii, Dave led the machine learning modeling and advanced analytics efforts at Atomo, a health AI company.
Dave earned a Ph.D. from UCLA in particle physics and was a postdoctoral fellow in astrophysics at McGill University and The University of Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and surfing, as well as playing music and RPGs with family and friends.
