As the Product Owner of Advanced Technology, Adam is dedicated to guiding companies on their AI journeys by providing tailored support, engaging programs, and opportunities for growth. He thrives on empowering organizations to realize the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, fostering innovation and learning every step of the way.
From 2021 to 2024, Adam led Amii’s startup team, where he oversaw the creation of Amii’s dedicated startup programming, amplifying support for early-stage AI ventures. Prior to that, Adam honed his expertise at Startup Edmonton, where he expanded post-secondary programming and led the Community Team. His diverse background includes over four years with the Government of Alberta, during which he served in various capacities such as HR Business Partner for Alberta Energy and Policy Analyst in Economic Development & Trade and Corporate Human Resources.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce in HR Management from the University of Alberta School of Business. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and their pets (one dog and three cats), exploring local craft breweries, hiking in the mountains, and debating the intricacies of Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Marvel theories. Amii partners with the Google for Startups Cloud Program to help founders scale and grow. Participation in the Google for Startup Cloud program is open to any existing startup that has participated in Amii’s ML Exploration program or Level Up: Amii’s CTO Coaching program in the last 12 months or intends to do so in the future.

Amii announces work with Communitech, a Waterloo Region innovation hub, to empower startup founders with the AI tools and resources they need to integrate AI and build in-house capabilities successfully. The collaboration will leverage Amii’s leading AI expertise and resources and be centred around Amii’s Machine Learning Exploration (ML Exploration) program.
