Alex Trudeau

Machine Learning Resident

Alex Trudeau is a Machine Learning Resident on the Advanced Technology team. Alex is currently working on developing reinforcement learning (RL) core technologies, with the goal of developing agents that leverage RL to autonomously control water treatment plants more efficiently. He is very passionate about applying AI to sustainability.

Alex has interned at Microsoft and Dolby Laboratories. He earned his BSc in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College and his MSc in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, under the supervision of Michael Bowling. Outside of work, he loves watching hockey (and is a Montreal Canadiens fan), cooking/eating delicious food, and playing board games.
